Panel Interaction
Information
entered or selections made on one panel can influence the content of other
panels.
In this calendar
example, a month is selected on the annual calendar, which brings up the
calendar for that month on the side panel. A date is selected on the monthly
calendar, which brings the day and week on other panels. The task lists is
pinned to the floor panel. |

Model Control
Information entered or
selections made on the panels can influence a model displayed on the interior
of the cube.
In this
molecular visualizer example, selections made on the periodic chart bring up
various other options and information on the other panels, as well as a 3D
model which is spinning in the interior of the cube. |

Panel/Model Interaction
The flow of
information can go two ways. Information entered or actions taken on the panels
can not only influence the model, but changes in the model can be reflected on
the side panels as well.
In this 2D/3D
modeler, the user can edit the 3D model by making changes to the 2D plans and
elevations, or can make changes to the 2D drawings by editing the 3D
model.
