CubicEye
Utilizing the CubicEye™ Geometry

Far from just a unique display mechanism, the CubicEye™ is also a powerful organizational tool that gives the application developer new ways of organizing interfaces and information that takes advantage of the geometry of multiple cubes.

The configuration diagrams on the left of each example give an overview of the geometry utilized by each example, as envisioned and seen by the application developer. On the right is the view seen by the CubicEye™ application user.

single cube Single Cube

The single cube is the CubicEye's basic configuration, and is sufficient for many applications. In this learning environment example, all of the materials relating to a single lesson are displayed in this single cube.

When the lesson is completed, the contents of the cube can be changed to bringin in material related to the second lesson, and so on.

If an application requires more panels, a second cube can be opened at any time. In this learning environment example, once the first lesson has been completed, a second cube opens, and material related to the second lesson appears.

In this way, the application takes advantage of the spatial organization of the cube to organize the lessons.

The geometry of the cubes can be used to organize the application data in any way the developer prefers. In this learning environment example, three lessons have been placed into the three cubes adjacent to the center (entry) cube.

These could initially be represented by single synopis panels, and opened only by user request, for example.
